The K70 underframe lift, which is only 70 mm high, is currently the flattest lift on the market. The new cassette lift was AMF-Bruns’ highlight at the REHACARE 2017 in Düsseldorf.
The dimensions of the new lift are not the only convincing feature; several features of its predecessor, the K90, have also been improved. The lift platform was refined with an anodised surface finish. The platform therefore not only looks better, but is also more resistant to mechanical influences. The electric roll-off safety barrier also functions on uneven carriageways and snow. During lifting and lowering it acts as a rolling stop for the wheelchair operator. The K70 is equipped with flashing LED warning lights for when visibility is poor. There is also an option to have the lift with side access.
The control unit is also new. It is now illuminated, water-proof and impact-resistant. A remote control is available on request. Those preferring a "smart" operating form can also control the lift using an app (iOS or Android).
A particular highlight: the original tank can be retained in vehicles with a rough road suspension or 4-wheel drive and a minimum 17” undercarriage. This also now applies to petrol-engine vehicles!
The K70 cassette lift will be available in spring 2018.
