Electric Step

The electric step is mounted under the vehicle at the side door. The semi-automatic step is operated via a rocker switch on the B-pillar. The switch cannot be reached when the sliding door is closed, so that incorrect operation during driving is impossible. With the fully automatic version, the step deploys when the door is opened. An acoustic warning tone signals that the electric step has been deployed.
